NetFoundry flipped the model from “network security” to “secure networking”
Business networks (TCP/IP) don’t enforce strong identities, continuous authentication and fine-grained, deny-by-default authorization and access. They are default insecure, default expensive to manage and default blockers to business velocity. The solution is not to pile on more network security. We need a new, secure by default model in which networks enforce identity, authentication and deny by-default, fine-grained authorization for every workflow (no firewall or VPN holes). We need to move from “network security” to “secure networking”.
