Kimura's journey began as a Founder/CEO, where he scaled two companies from inception to exit. Transitioning to venture capital, he invested in 18 early-stage technology firms, later moving into dual-roles as a VC and operator, becoming the CEO in one of his portfolio companies to guide its growth from $0-$50 million ARR in less than 5 years and successful exit. Kimura continued as an investor-operator and joined an open source technology company to help convert services revenue to ARR and achieve product-market fit. Today, Kimura's the CEO of AI Squared, helping to make AI easy to deploy, easy to use, and to bring meaningful ROI to large enterprises.
