Responsible for global alliances and ecosystem development at NetFoundry, James is an expert in business and technical partner strategies, including business case development, agreement negotiations and execution, and coordination of field engagement. James has a background in corporate strategy, business development, technical marketing and program management, with over 25 years of experience in start-ups and Fortune 500 companies including Dell, Motorola, NEC, and Siemens. During his tenure at Dell, he worked as technology strategist for the Office of the CTO, a team which envisions, designs and develops computing & communications client products ranging from desktops and notebooks to tablets, printers, displays and smartphones, as well as software, solutions, peripherals and services. Prior to Dell, James led business development in Motorola’s Multimedia System Division, delivering pioneering direct-to-home digital multimedia services. James started his career as VLSI design engineer, followed by field applications engineering and consultative sales roles across Europe and Asia. Raised on the Texas boarder speaking Spanish, and living in a German-speaking household, James is multilingual, with cross-cultural skills earned throughout the U.S., Europe and Asia Pacific.
