Inside Sales Lead

The Position
This role is responsible for overseeing sales personnel to drive successful lead generation and deal closure to deliver revenue for the company. This includes conducting analyses to determine strategy and focus together with training, managing, and monitoring (incl. reporting etc) the inside sales team to improve their outcomes and continually improve our messaging and outbound work. The ideal candidate will have experience working in inside sales as well as running inside sales teams.
Key Objectives of Position
- Research and implement inside sales strategies to be run via the inside sales team
- Manage the inside sales team incl. training, motivating, professional development, and input to hiring
- Setting and monitoring sales goals incl. reporting, forecasting, goals and results
- Assessing sales practices to create improvement across analysis, implementing and monitoring
About You
- Proven track record year over year of exceeding sales quotas and targets as ‘trusted advisor’
- A desire to be part of a start-up with big ambitions, high rewards, and possibly travel (as permitted)
- Exceptional written, verbal and listening skills as well as customer service and organizational skills
- Intellectually curious, articulates view, insatiable desire to learn and influential when formed a view
- Strong team-building and resourceful problem-solvers who can motivate others through leadership
Requirements
- 5+ years overall sales, inside sales and inside sales manager
- Demonstrable history of closing significant deals, at or above $50K ARR and annual quota achievement of $1M+
- Strong background in Apps, Cloud, Cyber Security, DevOps, IoT, APIs and Networking
- Undergraduate degree – Technology focus majors are advantageous
